A "white-glove" sale — all 33 lots gone, ~US$28M. The star: KAWS' The KAWS Album (2005), a Simpsons-meets-Sgt-Pepper's painting, sold for US$14.78M, a world record for the artist. Hand-painted KAWS Companions, Futura's Pointman, Stash's Four Pack, and grail BAPE×KAWS Chompers — the crossover of street art, pop and fashion, decades before "collaboration" was a strategy.
